Due to COVID-19’s hibernated growth strategy, the horizon is looking fantastic again and so the Team needs to expand.

About the role

We are recruiting for 2 Developers.

Senior / Lead Software Developer with responsibility to Lead the Team Delivering eCommerce Web Solutions (in house and for external clients) whilst demonstrating abilities around coding practices, code reviews and QA whilst Delivering high quality Software / Web Solutions.

For this Senior Position you will have full Team responsibility for Delivery Internally and to Clients whilst being able to be hands on. You are able to make decisions, take Architectural responsibility, Design and Develop, Mentor, Train and Hire/Fire! You will own a strong work ethic and always meet your deadlines.

Qualifications/Requirements

Extensive experience in website development specifically in eCommerce website development.
Experience with the BigCommerce platform and GraphQL is preferred but not essential.
Experienced in WordPress development is preferred but not essential.
Not essential but it would be preferable to have experience in Node.js frameworks.
Deep understanding and experience of development using .Net framework.
Proficient with Jira for managing the teams tasks.
Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as all web browsers, mobile responsiveness, AJAX, HTTP, HTML/XML, REST, JavaScript, CSS, XSL/XSLT, etc.
Should possess excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams in a dynamic, fast time to market and customer focused environment.
Experience where teams were comprised of onshore and offshore resources.
Consistently exhibits a personal accountability to outcomes to all team members, peers, and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines.

Our Mid / Intermediate role requires Supporting the Lead Developer in the activities above as well as core Development and Software Support duties on the BigCommerce Platform. You will have input around Solutions and Innovation of Product and be able to work with Tech Partners and Clients whilst Supporting, fixing and Documenting Software and Product related installs and changes.

Qualifications/Requirements

2+ years’ experience in web development required preferably in the eCommerce space
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as all web browsers, mobile responsiveness, WordPress, AJAX, HTTP, HTML/XML, REST, GraphQL, JavaScript, CSS, XSL/XSLT, etc.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
Strong attention to detail
Database experience would be preferred
SEO or Digital Marketing experience would be preferred but not essential

Both of these fantastic roles are based in Melbourne and the Lead Developer can be based in Western Sydney (Bella Vista) if need be.

Excellent salaries on offer for both.
