Our client Cloud DevOps Engineer is a hands-on implementation role to ensure their clients are delivered world-class solutions that facilitate a seamless transition to the AWS ecosystem, and ensures a positive user experience across all stakeholders during the process. You will own the Technical engagement, utilising your deep knowledge of AWS Technologies to drive successful implementation and ensure that the solutions that Mantalus deliver for their clients satisfy their needs and foster a longer-term working relationship.

The most successful Engineers in the business are curious, smart and uphold an exceptional standard of performance in all aspects of their work. You will be working collaboratively with Architects, C-Suite and Business Analysts within the business, as well as Technical and non-Technical stakeholders across their growing client lists. Your exceptional Technical capability, investigative mind and deep knowledge of Cloud solutions will enable you to be a valuable Technical implementation partner to the end clients.

Typically, the role will be responsible for:

Serve as a key Technical member of the client’ business development Team in helping to ensure customer success in building Applications and services on the AWS platform.
Assist in scoping each customer engagement, with attention to clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
Own Technical Engagements and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the clients Team.
Understand the client and AWS market segments, customer bases, and industry verticals.
Understand and exploit internal client systems.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

5+ years of DevOps/Software Engineer experience. Work in a consulting environment would be highly regarded.
Experience building Infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on Server, Load Balancing, HA/DR, & Storage Architectures.
Strong capability with DevOps toolsets and automation such as CloudFormation, Ansible and PowerShell.
Experience Architecting or Deploying Cloud/Virtualization Solutions in Enterprise customers. AWS specific experience a bonus.
Experience working within the Enterprise software market or Internet industries is highly desired.
Enterprise Application and Database Architecture a bonus.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
Computer Science or computational math background highly desired.
Working knowledge of Software Development practices and Technologies highly desired.
AWS certifications (ie: Associate or above) required.
