Full Time Role

Salary range $80,000 – 115,000K    plus super (or contract)

 

Background Information  on Role

– Responsible for the development of software changes to enhance the functionality of the Pronto ERP system and supporting software and operational systems.

– Additionally they provide second level support for this ERP which may include updates to existing code to ensure system effectiveness is maintained.

-This role is key to ensuring our ERP system facilitates maintenance of strong system governance, continuous improvement of operational processes and business growth.

-This role will work closely with key stakeholders to undertake projects which streamline processes or enable new business requirements to be met.

 

Job Specific Responsibilities (in no specific sequence)

 

  1. Enhancement and testing of existing code to meet requirements

This include testing of the code.

 

  1. As required, development of training material and provision of training

 

  1. Documentation

Gathering requirements from stakeholders and the preparation of Business Requirements Document (BRD).

Provision of Business Solution Document to stakeholders

Provision of  Handover Document

 

  1. Provide input into project timelines.

Provide timely status updates to project team.

 

  1. Application support  (this is about 20% of time)

Provide second level support  as required

 

A successful candidate must have

  • Min of 4 years experience as a pronto programmer
  • Experience and confident in writing and changing programs to improve business processes
  • Strong knowledge of pronto objects and data fields
  • Previous experience with data extraction and manipulation
  • Experienced with using Microsoft suite of products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Have a friendly manner with the ability to engage confidently with all levels within the business
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in documenting business requirements, technical solution and support handover documentation.

 

Desirable skills

– Reasonable excel experience, such as vlookup and pivot table experience

– Cognos reporting studio experience
